Stay fit dont end up needing a defibrillator
I have not really been in touch with the folks and siblings for about 10 years I found it a bit worrying when I spoke to a cousin of mine that I found on the web and he informed me that my fathers brother had a triple bypass operation and his sister had a pace maker put in.
The fact that both of them had heart attacks immediately placed me on high alert for any possible symptoms that might indicate a possible heart condition. My first instinct wasn’t to immediately go out and purchase a Zoll M defibrillator on the off chance my chest went into fibrillation but I did get a bit paranoid.
Having just put my business on hold and had been comfort eating a bit, which had put the weight on, 14 stone at 6 foot for me isn’t a healthy weight. It might have been stress but I started to worry about a ache that I was getting in my chest.
Following a blood test at the doctors it informed me that my blood fats were to high and the Doctor informed me I was on the borders of needing a prescription to bring my cholesterol level down because of my family history of heart attacks (though she said there was no proof that a parents Siblings effected their progeny).
Wake up!!!! I instantly removed from my diet butter, cheese (love cheese!) and didn’t eat chocolate or anything that had a high cholesterol content. Started eating food that helped with cholesterol (foods from the supermarket nothing professing magical properties just normal food) and started Mountain biking to the then newly started job (ten miles there and back cross country, 14 miles by road).
I purchased a set of scales that initially recorded my fat levels being 25 or 26 which was way to high I have now reduced it 20-21 which is normal. I am now 12 and a half stone and once again my normal healthy self. I haven’t been back to the doctors and no longer feel the silly need to rent a Zoll M defibrillator just in case, because I know my cholesterol levels are back where they should be even giving myself chocolate, cheese and butter in moderation.
When feel that you are overweight or have a very sedentary life and feel without energy think about what you eat and begin exercising it doesn’t take long (about a year for me) to have a real effect to your existence.
