Motive Cosmetics will be a Name Brand

Howdy, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I’ve been pretty effing lazy latterly when it comes to mix and matching colors. On a day-to-day basis, chances are I awakened late and don’t have much time to put more than little effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, sporadically eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it was not till I received some Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely I’ve been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.

Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a fairly new line that isn’t huge, but definitely should be. It’s not super pricey, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t need to be at once related with cost. This isn’t one of those companies. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.

It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I’m wishing to use my pinky finger to mix the colors. I attempted on some different shades over the course of a week to get a understanding of all the colours. They are not super-heavy, so it’s presumably not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works pretty well for wearing to parties and so on . You can also mix the colors with a small water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you want to be out for hours at a time and don’t need motives makeup wearing out before you do.

I am customarily not avid on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF 15 ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and didn’t have a cakey finish. While I will not wear it every day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I am on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )

Last saturday I was headed to a party, so I thought it’d be charming to layer their new gloss ( coming at once on the site over the rich Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a huge quantity of compliments, and the boyfriend liked it, so when I awakened next day still a touch lagered and ready to wear a fun outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : palatable breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.

Ultimately, I’ve been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days rather than my common cheek stain. It hasn’t made a giant difference, but that is the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got lots of compliments, I like Motives Cosmetics !
