Cheap Bamboo Flooring Can Be Inexpensive And Not Substandard

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Discounted bamboo flooring, on the whole, is a cheaper substitute than the standard hardwood floor generally used. Low-cost bamboo floor is not challenging to discover. When hoping to discover anything at a cheap price, the consumer should shop wisely. He must make certain he is receiving a excellent product at a cheap price or reasonable price, not a inferior product. This rule must be remembered as trying to find low-cost bamboo floor. Just respectable bamboo flooring suppliers who offer a assurance on their product should be used.

Bamboo flooring prices are staying underneath hardwood floor prices mainly because of the regrowth time frame of both. Bamboo can be harvested in four to six years; it regrows itself into a new bamboo pole, and is once more prepared for cutting down in another four to six years. After cutting down, hardwood trees ought to be replanted, then grow from 40 to one hundred years before they are ready for cutting down yet again. It is no wonder that bamboo floor is more reasonable than hardwood floor. The bamboo considered necessary for bamboo flooring can be cut down roughly speaking twenty times sooner than the hardwood trees needed for hardwood floor can be cut down the second time.

The educated purchaser can find amazing deals on bamboo flooring if he shops from one place to another. Some bamboo flooring suppliers may greatly bring down the price on older stock which has been sitting in the warehouse for an extended period of time. If this is the case, the buyer ought to attain the suppliers average assurance on the product. Bamboo flooring on sale because of old-supply to move, or over stock, look like a department stores white sale; the most important point is to make room for brand new stock. There is zilch wrong with the older stock; so it can be purchased at a cheap price.

While buying any bamboo floor, but specially when purchasing economical bamboo flooring, shipping or delivery charges should be declared and decided upon, earlier than the acquisition is completed. The purchaser needs to make sure that the delivery cost does not add so much to the purchase price of his economical bamboo floor that it is no longer cheap.

Employment Based Visas

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

The Immigration and Nationality Act provides a yearly minimum of 140,000 employment-based immigrant visas which are divided into five preference categories. They may require a labor certification from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and the filing of a petition with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Department of Homeland Security (USCIS).

Employment First Preference (Eb-1 visas)
Priority Workers receive 28.6 percent of the yearly worldwide limit. All Priority Workers must be the beneficiaries of an approved Form I- 140, Immigrant Petition for Foreign Worker, filed with USCIS. Within this preference there are three sub-groups:

1. Persons of extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. Applicants in this category must have extensive documentation showing sustained national or international acclaim and recognition in the field of expertise. Such applicants do not have to have a specific job offer so long as they are entering the U.S. to continue work in the field in which they have extraordinary ability. Such applicants can file their own petition with the USCIS, rather than through an employer;

2. Outstanding professors and researchers with at least three years experience in teaching or research, who are recognized internationally. No labor certification is required for this classification, but the prospective employer must provide a job offer and file a petition with the USCIS; and

3. Certain executives and managers who have been employed at least one of the three preceding years by the overseas affiliate, parent, subsidiary, or branch of the U.S. employer. The applicant must be coming to work in a managerial or executive capacity. No labor certification is required for this classification, but the prospective employer must provide a job offer and file a petition with the USCIS.

Preferences 2-5 will be explained in upcoming posts. Stay tuned.

Mortgages in Spain
How to get a home loan for Spain

Mortgages or home loans (hipotecas) are available from most Spanish banks (for residents and non-residents), foreign banks in Spain, and overseas and offshore banks. In recent years, Spanish and foreign lenders have arranged a record number of spanish mortgages, the average amount borrowed being around 250000

The amount you can borrow depends on various factors such as your income, trade or profession, whether you’re an employee or self-employed, and whether you’re married, and if so, whether your partner works. Lenders may also have a maximum lending limit based on a percentage of your income, but this isn’t required by law.

Most banks offer mortgages of up to 8 per cent, although non-residents can usually borrow a maximum of 60 per cent only. To obtain a mortgage from a Spanish bank, you must usually provide proof of your monthly income and major outgoings (e.g. loans or commitments). There are no self-assessment mortgages such as in the UK and mortgages without proof of income (although advertised in the expatriate press) are difficult to find and virtually non-existent. If you want a Spanish mortgage to buy a property for commercial purposes, you must provide a detailed business plan in Spanish. Note that a mortgage can be assumed by the new owner (called subrogación) when a property is sold, which is a common practice in Spain.
