Blogging as More than a Hobby

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Blogging reviews are oftentimes considered just a way to kill time, or relax or is just a way to share what goes on in your life or a share something particularly interesting to you. To some, it even seems like a fruitless and unproductive hobby that is just for teens or people who have too much time on their hands.

Although that might have been true during the earlier years of the blogging phenomena, nowadays blogging is so much more than that and recently wise bloggers have discovered that there is money to be made in blogging. Now the thought that might be playing in your mind right now is is it true? If so how do go about blogging your way to the bank? To answer your question, let me elaborate on how this works, and give you some blogging tips.

Money is made from blogging by getting as many visitors as you can to visit your blog. But how exactly does getting people to view your blog help you earn money? Well, just think of it as commercials on television. TV commercials hook-up with high rating TV shows so that people viewing the show will get to see their ads in between breaks. This is similar to how earning money from a blog works.

To earn money from your blog you will need to get Google ads on your page since Google advertisers pay you per view and or per click their ads receive. To effectively maximize on blogging your way to the bank, you might want to read up more on Atomic blogging products and the like.

Jack Vettriano his work and collections.

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

The Art Portfolio of Romsey celebrates the work of one of Britain’s most popular living artists, ‘The People’s Painter’, Jack Vettriano. The UK’s largest ever retrospective of Vettriano’s prints features an exceptional collection of five new signed limited editions taken from his latest series of paintings, three of which are based on a French Riviera theme. There will be many rare editions for sale including the hugely popular Along Came a Spider.

Jack Vettriano was born in Fife, Scotland in 1951 and left school at the age of 16 to become a mining engineer. Vettriano experimented with drawing figures in his teenage years, but was first encouraged to paint when a girlfriend bought him a set of paints at the age of 21. Vettriano spent the next 14 years teaching himself to paint, gaining inspiration from his local town of Kirkcaldy and in particular the local art gallery, The Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery.

The turning point in Vettriano’s career came in 1989 when two paintings were accepted for the Royal Scottish Academy’s annual exhibition in Edinburgh. Both paintings were sold on the first day of the Exhibition and marked the beginning of Vettriano’s new career as a full time artist. The following year, an equally enthusiastic reaction greeted the three paintings which he entered for the prestigious Summer Exhibition at London’s Royal Academy. His new life as an artist began.

In November 1999, Vettriano’s work was shown for the first time in New York, when twenty paintings were displayed at The Fifth Armory, Park Lane. Fifty collectors from the UK flew out for the opening night of the Fair and all twenty paintings were sold out within an hour of the opening. Jack Vettriano’s most recognisable painting, The Singing Butler, which was originally rejected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, sold at Sotheby’s in April 2004 for £744,500.

Vettriano has become a phenomena, and there has been a huge media interest in his life and work. In 2003 he was awarded an OBE for Services to the Visual Arts and was subject of a South Bank Show documentary, ‘Jack Vettriano: The People’s Painter’. He has also received an honorary degree from the University of St. Andrews. In the last 25 years Jack Vettriano has had a number of sell out Exhibitions in Edinburgh, London, New York, Hong Kong and Johannesburg. His work is collected by the likes of Jack Nicholson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Tim Rice and Robbie Coltrane.

Loved by the public but often dismissed by the critics, major art galleries refuse to hang Vettriano’s paintings. Peter Howson, one of Scotland’s most respected living painters, attacks both art critics and curators for their scorn of Vettriano’s work. “If Tracey Emin, Martin Creed and Damien Hirst can get into the Tate, the Jack Vettriano deserves to be in national collections as well - I think the elite really have a fear of him.” Vettriano has commented “I’m often dragged into the debate about whether my work should be shown in public collections and whilst I feel that this is for others to decide… I’m delighted that fans of my paintings will now be able to see a body of work of which I’m very proud”.

Vettriano’s discovery of painting has led him to become one of the most popular artists of our time, and an inspirational figure to many. His figurative oil paintings present a nostalgic commentary, often with an air of romance and sensuality that has an almost universal appeal. His figures describe an intense state of affairs, creating a narrative which is left for the viewer to ponder. Jack Vettriano divides his time between his homes in Fife, London and Nice. “Lovers, Strangers and Stories” gives the public the chance to have their very own signed limited edition Vettriano. This is one art exhibition certainly not to be missed.

Where To Buy Parvaid

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

The problem of where to buy Parvaid doesn’t seem like it should be too hard - just go to the local store and pick up a bottle.

Well, we’re sorry, but that would be just too easy - things are a little bit more complicated than that.

Parvaid is an herbal product that is both chemical and synthetic-free. It is both safe and effective. Sadly, it is not a chemical-based drug, which means that most vets who are trained in Western Medicine completely dismiss organic products as nothing but some alternative solution that can’t possibly work as it is not approved by the FDA.

Herbal products that are classified as botanicals or food supplements, as in the case of Parvaid and its related products, do not need to be evaluated by the FDA and therefore do not have to be approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Whenever you run into non-traditional and non-mainstream products, you will find a wall of resistance. Most vets know practically nothing of organic treatments, and on most occasions they will be quite dismissive of any product that wasn’t produced by a drug manufacturer as they receive a lot of financial incentives for promoting drugs from the big pharmaceutical companies; whereas the small independent herbalist can’t come close to matching the payoff levels that a Pfizer can use to incentivize a struggling vet.

So, trying to get inexpensive herbal products into established distribution chains is not easy. The financial rewards are simply not there, there will be far less residual income, which is because herbal products normally provide long-term relief compared to drugs that cause multiple side-effects that in turn mean you need still further drugs to counter-act the side-effects, and all this ever does is to put a band-aid on the problems, you might have to take pills and such for the rest of your life - and that, of course, is a nice, steady earner for vets, month in, month out.

What it boils down to is this - vets could get paid once (by really treating the problem and not the symptoms) or they could get paid many times, so it’s not too surprising that they choose the latter option.

Sadly, in this country we once had a proud tradition of using organic products to solve all sorts of ailments, but 200 years ago or so, drugs began to surface, massive marketing campaigns were set up proclaiming how wonderful drugs are and that they are the only path to good health, and so the propaganda machine continued at full force.

The organic market could not then and by-and-large still cannot compete with fat cats and their deep pockets. If you brainwash people, day after day after day, with hype-filled ads that play on their emotions, they will get so worn down that they will come to believe the only viable solution is drugs.

The “pop a couple of pills and everything will be OK” mentality is all that most people know, because it’s what they grew up with. But nowadays bugs (i.e. germs, bacteria, parasites, viruses) are getting stronger and stronger and immune to traditional treatments. You may find it easier to get your hands on chemical-based products but you probably won’t get the type of relief that you need.

Products such as Parvaid work with the body, and not against, it, to help it heal from within. It would be nice to be able to go to your local market and find these organic type products, but as they are not mainstream and there are no big companies willing to promote this type of alternative treatment plan, you will not readily find these sorts of products in supermarkets, or even in any of the larger pet stores such as Pet Co or Pet Smart. You may, however, have some success if you look in small independent pet stores or feed stores.

But before you do this, there are a few things you need to know first.

Very few of the smaller retailers who sell Parvaid really know much about the product or how best to use it for maximum effect, because to them, it’s nothing more than another item on the shelf.

Because here’s the thing - if you want to give your dog the best possible chance of surviving Parvo, then you not only need to know the correct way to administer the product but also how to make and give a few home remedies at the same time. Unfortunately, most retailers neither have the necessary knowledge nor expertise.

Also the manufacturer requires a minimum of four (4) different products to treat sick Parvo dogs or exposed Parvo puppies as well as exposed adult dogs. Many retailers do not carry all of the required products.

So, here’s your dliemma: do you spend valuable time trying to hunt down a retail store within driving distance (which may be several hours away if you’re unlucky), in the hope that they stock all of the products you need, and then return home and try to cope by yourself as best you can, or you do buy the products online?

Now of course, if you buy from the retail store it would save some a bit of time (and perhaps some money as you would not have to pay for shipping - just gas and time), but you will not get any support whatsoever. If anything does go wrong, because no matter how good the products are (and they are!), some dogs don’t respond to the standard treatment protocols for any number of reasons and therefore need adjusted dosage schedules, you’ll probably find that you’ll get no help from the store you bought the products from as they simply won’t have the knowledge and experience that you’ll need.

If you decide to buy Parvaid online, then you need to examine who is selling the products, how much experience do they have should you need help, which is most of the time, and how trustworthy is their website.

As you know, there are no shortages of fly-by-night sites out there with many scammers that take money but never deliver.

So, one key to look for is how much material is available on the subject of Parvo. If you can’t find very much (and on some sites, you’ll find none at all), then it’s highly likely that these are nothing more than a few additional products to them, which in turn means they’ll know very little about Parvo and its treatment

Something else to look out for is the range of shipping methods that they use. If they only offer USPS Priority Mail for example, that means they have no clue about how deadly this virus is and time is against you, so UPS or FedEx Overnight services are the ONLY acceptable shipping methods for sick animals.

We have dealt with well over 850 cases of Parvo, we only use FedEx Overnight for sick animals (Monday - Saturday deliveries), we make available a 100+ page book that we wrote all about Parvo, called Parvo Treatment 101, which you can download to your computer instantly and completely free of charge, we have developed (and frequently update) the most comprehensive Parvo Home Remedy Plan that will help sustain your sick dog until your products can be delivered, and throughout the treatment schedule, that you will find anywhere on the Internet, and we are the only company who offer all customers completely free and unlimited 24 x 7 phone support and personal coaching.

If your property is infected with Parvo, assuming you have dogs, or with Feline Distemper, if you have cats (because, unfortunately, dogs can pass Parvo on to cats, where it manifests itself in the form of Feline Distemper, also known as Feline Panleukopenia), then it is more than likely that you will need some support (maybe at 3:00am on a Sunday morning, when you won’t be able to contact most vets or retail stores, of course) to help you through this horrific ordeal.

If you have not already done so, please visit ParvoBuster to help get your pets back on their feet again, and don’t forget to check out the Parvaid testimonials kindly provided by some of our many satisfied customers.

Find People By Cell Phone Number

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Can you really run a reverse cell phone look up successfully? Some of us are just about through with sites that promise a product or service but don’t deliver. On the scene now are reverse cell phone lookup sites.

Firstly let us examine exactly what we mean by a phone number lookup. If you have a land line number but no idea who the number belongs to or which address it belongs to you can visit a reverse phone lookup site for inquiries. For example cell phone reverse.

Needless to say there is an issue when you desire to conduct a reverse phone lookup on a cellular phone as the free directories do not contain any such numbers. Not to mention fax numbers can’t be produced either as this information is only held by the carriers and telecommunications companies. Well, are these records available and free?

The great thing is that numerous websites provide great databases of cell phone numbers, but the service is not free. They have to pay for this information, and go to a lot of the trouble of gathering the massive resources together in one place, and that’s the reason a small fee is necessary before you can get to the reverse phone directory databases.

Not only reverse phone lookups, but there are also sister websites which offer up access to information such as background checks and background reports, personal databases, bankruptcy searches, deaths, marriages, divorces and adoptions, and much more. These websites run in the same way, offering access to unique types of information for a set fee, however it should be mentioned that you will not get access to such information as part of your reverse phone search internet site membership.

Learn To Sing Better

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

If you would like to learn to sing better, then this guide will show you how. Specifically, we’re going to talk about the importance of correct breathing control, and why you shouldn’t “force” yourself to sing louder. By the time you’ve finished reading this guide, you should have a good idea of how you can learn to sing well.

Most beginning singers never realize how important correct breathing technique is, and because of this, they seriously limit their singing potential.

So what is correct breath control? The key is to make sure you are breathing with your lower stomach, instead of your upper chest. In fact, your chest should hardly move at all when you breath in this way.  Learning diaphragmatic breathing will give your singing voice far more power and control.

The next thing to consider, is making sure your don’t force yourself to sing louder. If you want to learn how to sing well, then it’s a good idea to practice singing softly with control, instead of using added volume to give your singing voice power.

Bear in mind that a powerful singing voice is developed through practice and control – not straining to be louder. So focus on controlling your tone and accuracy, before working on how loud you can sing.

In conclusion, this guide has shown you two important things to keep in mind when learning how to sing. These things were correct breathing technique, and practicing with a “soft” singing voice. Now that you know these two things, you will  find your singing practice time to be far more productive.
