A Short Introduction to The Benefits Of Whole Life Insurance

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

When your circumstances require that you suddenly have to take out life insuance you sometimes have to decide quickly.  Deciding over what type of insurance policy is best for your situation, is no laughing matter.  It is something that can have a huge finacial impact on your family and your liquidity in the long run.

Just knowing the basics of life cover is not the most important.  Finding out which life cover option is policy for you to take, given your current situation - that is the question!

If you wanted a quick short term solution that will not sink you financially, you should look at whole life insurance vs term life insurance.

The risk of the term life insurance policy paying out is small and therefor your premium is small too.  The fact is that once the term has passed your life is no longer covered, must be considered too.

In the long-term it normally is better to have a whole life insurance which is built onto a term that only expires when you die.  That way you do not have to worry about renewing your life insurance policy.  In fact your family can be assured that your life is covered and stay being covered as long as your life insurance premiums are paid up to date.

Something else you you wish to consider is the fact that the whole life insurance policy typically have a built in sum of money that is invested on your behalf by the insurance firm. Even with the sometimes slightly higher premiums of the whole life insurance policies, it may still be giving the best return for your money.

So if you decided to go for a whole life insurance policy I would suggest planning out what your whole life insurance will cost first..

Seeking Weight Loss Tips And Advice

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

I have been over weight for to long! So it’s time to develop a weight loss plan. I don’t want to spend days studying all the fads out there, I just need a few good weight loss tips and advice to help me get started. Like choosing the proper diet. Even though here is no such thing as “the” proper diet for every individual. Nevertheless, all humans are similar enough that there are probably broad categories, and many specifics, that are correct for almost anyone. A good diet like the the old-fashioned “balanced diet” that has remained largely unchanged for 60 years or more.

My friend said, why dont’ you try one of those fad diets? So I wonder, are fad diets a bad idea? It seems almost as if there is a new fad diet every week. Many of these contain elements of truth, but on the whole they contain much more good marketing than good science.

There is the 3-day diet, which touts eating little more than fruits for three days, followed by vegetables or meat or grains the other days. There are lots of variations. I just don’t know.

I have read that “the South Beach Diet is a phased approach to weight loss and nutrition. In the three major phases dieters will eat selected foods and avoid others, in order to balance the glycemic index to lose weight and achieve optimal metabolism.” What the heck is the “glycemic index”?

With all the diet informatiom available, it looks like it’s going to take me a lot longer than expected to figure out the best plan for me. Oh well, I suppose I will doing a little more reseach on the subject.
