Call Center Solutions

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Call center solutions for any size business in need of telemarketing service management.

Outsourcing your call center solutions will bring peace and happiness in our mind. Core activities can be maintained through outsourcing call center services. Outsourcing the customer service function is looked at as a strategy for long term competitive advantage rather than a simple short term cost cutting tool. India as an outsourcing destination offers a sustainable value proposition with a young and call center technology-savvy workforce, superior handling of business process initiatives and sustained cost advantages.

Customer relationship management (CRM) affects your entire organization, and the right CRM strategy and solution is integral in meeting the needs of your clients and vendors.

Businesses that want to get closer to their customers are transforming their conventional call centers into multi-channel contact centers that support telephone, e-mail and the Web. Multiple technologies must be integrated with a single goal; to improve the way a company does business by enhancing the customer relationship through enriching the quality of the contact.

Outbound Call Center Results - call center monitoring the results your outbound call center provides is an important aspect in selecting the outbound call center most capable of handling your needs. Outbound calls are processed through the click of an icon or a single keystroke. Net Phone can even synchronize a telephone’s status messaging and call forwarding with the calendar in Microsoft Outlook.

Increasingly, enterprises are adding revenue goals for their call centers and pro-active contact is becoming the leading way to achieve these. Call centers with these new revenue goals quickly discover that customers calling with problems and complaints are not as likely to respond positively to sales offers as pro-actively contacted customers are. Increasing flexibility, reducing complexity, lowering costs, enhancing customer satisfaction and improving productivity are responsibilities that fall across the entire organization, not just the contact centre, and all add up to positively impact the bottom line.

Clothing Options For Plus Sized Women

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

The emaciated look in women has not always ruled as there are several eras in the past where men have yearned for well-figured women. The past is full of times when the scrawny look went out of fashion. There is no shortage of women who wear sizes 12 to 34, so what do people mean when they say ‘plus size clothing’? Actually some of these overtly lean and thin women do not have the right kind of nutrition. Some women are so keen to stay skinny, that they do not even eat the right kind of food.

On the other hand it would be stupid to content that plus sized girls are not really needed. It is a fact that many of the A-list artists get as much attention if not more than the thinner girls. Now that manufacturers are also concentrating on satisfying the sartorial desires of fatter women, women with 12, 13 and even bigger sizes are getting appropriate clothes which appeal to men.

A big-made voluptuous woman has easy access today through online stores to buy plus size clothing and she can buy anything from shirts and sweaters to skirts, pants, swimwear, wide shoes like women’s Aerosoles and even lingerie. Today all the renowned shopping chains which cater to world markets are stocking plus size clothes and of course smaller measurements also. Plus size clothes are now widely known and used often by women worldwide. They are finding great convenience in plus size bras and of course other items of clothing too.

There is not woman who is not concerned about how she looks and how others view her. The way you look can impact your deportment and your self esteem. This can also have an effect on the your acceptance level in a crowd and buxom women often suffer from a feeling of inadequacy that they are not as sexy as their thinner counterparts. While voluptuous women find it tough, sometimes it may result in some distressing situations also.

This is the main reason that plus size clothing cannot be overlooked. Worldwide plus size women line up to buy the clothes meant for spring wear. Though the distinctive classic collections are talked about but the latest craze is dresses with large buttons and sexy belts which the fashion stores are advertising regularly.

The best colors to choose for plus size dresses are white and pink. Go for some classical jewelry as accessory to your dress as the ‘old world’ look is back in fashion. Plus size dresses these days are elegant and fashionable and many people would be taken by surprise as online shopping has become so convenient for plus size clothing.

Red Deer Diamond Heist

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Another diamond heist has left an Alberta store out thousands of dollars worth of the gems.

On Friday at 5:25 p.m., two men walked into Polar Jewellers in Red Deer where one asked to be shown loose diamonds while the other stood near the entrance. The man grabbed an undisclosed number of diamonds worth $35,000, said Red Deer RCMP.

Both fled the store and jumped into a new, white Ford F150 and sped off, eventually crashing into another truck but still continuing.

The truck was found abandoned two hours later near Wetaskiwin.

One suspect is a shorter Caucasian in his early 20s with short, dark hair and wearing a dark football jersey with a gold number 25, black shorts and dark baseball cap. The second suspect is a heavy-set Caucasian male in his early 20s with light hair and wearing a black T-shirt and jean shorts.

The truck fled at a high rate of speed, colliding with a vehicle in Red Deer before being abandoned near Wetaskiwin a couple of hours later. One of the suspects is described as a short Caucasian man in his early 20s, with short dark-coloured hair. He was wearing black shorts, a dark baseball cap and a dark football jersey with a gold No. 25 on it.

The second man is described as a heavy set Caucasian man, also in his 20s, with lighter coloured hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and jean shorts.

Last month, two men made off with thousands of dollars of diamond jewelry after a heist at Ben Moss Jewelers at Kingsway Garden Mall.

Japanese Koi Fish Pond Article

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

It may take a whole week to clean your pond. When doing so, you must be sure that all pollutants are removed. All silt, leaves, and other materials that are suspended at the bottom of the pond should be taken away. Also, uproot all plants and flowers that cannot survive the cold season. Moreover, eliminate those that can be blown into your pond from nearby. These procedures are necessary to prevent the growth of harmful parasites and bacteria in the pond.

Stop Feeding Your Fish

An average Japanese Koi takes more or less 4 days before the food it has eaten is completely digested, less so if the temperature is more than 50 degrees. During winter months, feed the Koi only once every day, especially if the temperature falls between 55 and 60 degrees.

If the coldness drops further to below 50 degrees or rises up to more than that, do not feed the fish at all.

Excessive feeding can eventually damage and kill your fish. Opening their mouths doesn’t’ necessarily mean they’re hungry it’s actually a learned reflex. Besides, they can also take and consequently digest other substances aside from the food you’re giving them. Perform An Annual Checkup Perform a seasonal periodic checkup of all your accessories and equipment, starting from medications to the filtration system.

The emergency kit nets, kits for water testing, and bags should also be accessible and constantly updated.

Get Ready for Cold Weather You can already start gathering all the items you may need for the winter on colder days. Japanese Koi Fish are known for being able to thrive even in temperatures below 40 degrees but for short time periods. If you’re considering purchasing a heater, it should be proportional to the amount of heat the pond requires, or else, it will not stop the formation of ice, which will then cause a high buildup of harmful gases in the water. It is also recommended to equip your pond with an emergency tank.

SAT Essay - 8 Ways To Write A Great Introduction

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

You can’t afford to have writer’s block since you only have 25 minutes to write your SAT Essays. So to help my students put pen to paper faster I created these 8 techniques for creating a compelling introduction quickly. Try them and they’ll help you too.

1. Understand the prompt first

The number one thing you must do to write a great introduction is to make sure you know what you are writing about first. The biggest mistake I’ve seen in scoring SAT Essays is that many students misread the prompt. To avoid this I have my students underline or circle important words and phrases to make sure they have truly digested the prompt. I suggest you do the same.

2. Use an analogy or metaphor

Analogies require creativity. A trait that SAT Essay graders love to reward. For an essay in which the prompt was “Is it true that to make progress people must make sacrifices?” A student created the following analogy,

“To climb a mountain a person must struggle and strain. And this is the case with any worthwhile goal…”

3. Tell a brief anecdote

You can create an engaging introduction by telling a brief (1-2 sentence anecdote) such as the following.

When I trained for my first marathon it was difficult and often painful. But I wanted to have the accomplishment of running 26.2 miles so I did it anyway. To make progress in life requires sacrifice.

4. Use a quote that was not used in the prompt

It is useful to memorize quotes that you love. You never know when they can come in handy on the test. For example for the essay topic “Do mistakes lead to growth?” one of my students wrote

Someone once asked Edison, “how can you feel good about your work, having failed nine-hundred and ninety-nine times to make a light bulb?” To this Edison replied, “I have not failed so many times, I have merely learned nine-hundred and ninety-nine ways not to make a light bulb. Why did Edison react this way? Because he knew that mistakes are always experiences that lead to learning and growth.”

This was a great quote to begin his essay with and would definitely impress SAT Essay graders.

5. Mention a topic in the news

SAT Essay Experts will often say to stay away from news in the body of your essay. And they are right. However, in the introduction it can be very useful IF you have the facts straight AND it’s even better if it is a news story that isn’t well covered. If you use this idea make sure it clearly fits the topic.

6. Make up an anecdote using very specific details

I don’t recommend this as you don’t need a creative introduction badly enough to take the trouble to make one up. I had a student insist on trying this and his were so bad at first anyone could guess they were fictional. Finally, however he started to put details that were so specific that I couldn’t tell if it was real or not. So you can fool graders if you want to but I don’t recommend it.

7. Use a cliche in an inventive way

Most books and articles on writing say to stay away from cliches however, it’s a secret of professional writers that if you change a cliche it captures people’s attention.

One student used the following cliche to make a great introduction for the topic “Which is a better indicator of a person’s true character, their actions or their words?”

“A picture tells a thousand words” is a saying that applies to the newspaper industry but which also applies to people. The picture created by a person’s actions tells us a thousand words about him or her and goes much farther than words do in telling us about a person’s true thoughts and feelings. Several examples from literature and history demonstrate this point.

Using the cliche “A picture tells a thousand words” to make the point that actions speak louder than words is very unique and very powerful.

8. When all else fails just do a quick summary of what you will cover in your essay

Make sure you clearly state your thesis and state which categories of information your examples are from

For example, “Examples from history, literature and science will prove that people care far too much about what others think of them.”

Most of all remember, you do not need to write an impressive introduction so badly that you sacrifice the rest of your essay. In fact I taught my students to write great body paragraphs first as these are just as important. Then when they could write them quickly I taught them how to write great introductions and powerful conclusions.

Building An Online Business Takes Commitment

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

I recently launched a new online business technical training site after a pre-launch period of about three weeks. During that period I did some promotion of the site and had a form on the landing page to collect names and email addresses of those interested in knowing when the site went live.

A total of 78 people opted in and when the site went live, of course, I emailed those folks to let them know. One of those people turned out to be a fellow marketer living about 40 minutes from me. She emailed me to let me know that a few days prior to the site launch.

Launch day came and I got another email from her saying how she was sorry, but she “couldn’t afford [my] prices” and she wouldn’t be signing up for the site. She then went into a long dissertation about how she had to be very careful how she spent her money and how there are lots of scam artists out there and that she had the perfect plan for making her fortune on the Internet.

You ready? Here’s the plan:

  1. Put up a squeeze page and collect a bunch of names and emails
  2. Get those people to trust her
  3. Join an affiliate program and sell the product to her list

Here I’d been working my tail off for almost two years to get this Internet marketing thing figured out and she had it down to three simple steps! Who knew?!?

Obviously, she left out a few details in the master plan, like how she was going to get people to visit her squeeze page and leave their contact info so that she could then convince them she was trustworthy. I wrote back to her and told her that if she already knew how to put up a squeeze page and drive traffic to it she didn’t need my training anyway. I wondered what had prompted her to sign up for my prenotification list in the first place, but decided not to ask.

I had previously asked her what she felt was a reasonable price for online business technical training, but never got an answer. I felt (and still do) the charter membership rate was very reasonable, maybe even too reasonable, but it’s all in the eye of the beholder. I restrained myself from asking her how she expected to build an online business with a mindset that was afraid to spend a few dollars a month for training, but since she apparently doesn’t need training, the point is moot anyway.

The point of this is that I can recall when I first started out and the idea of committing to spending more than a few bucks a month was a little scary. The reason it was scary was that I didn’t know if I was going to generate enough revenue to cover it.

That can be a big hurdle for people to get over. It often entails being willing to go ahead and commit to the monthly expense and trusting that the investment will help the business generate the necessary revenue. It also requires some patience as the cash flow may not increase dramatically, but slowly over time.

The key is to make the commitment and put in the required effort. If it doesn’t pay off, you’ll have learned something and you can go on to the next thing. Chances are, however, if you give it sufficient time to work, the results will be well worth the investment.

How to Prepare for an Upcoming Employment Background Check

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Companies are taking a closer look at those who take today. From security problems intensified for an increase in cases of negligent hiring, companies understand that decisions to hire defective can cause them serious problems. That’s because more than 90% of employers hour run background checks on potential hires.

During the verification process, a rental gives a good look at your personal history and professional. Verifying your past employment and training, check to see if there is criminal activity in your past and talk to your references. Some companies may even consider your remark motive, history accreditation or results of previous drug test.

To run an employment background check, the company needs some specific information. For example, they need the contact information for your former employers and names of your previous soprintendenti. This type of detailed information is not typically found on a summary, not even one who is prepared professional. So companies are candidates to fill a work that is specifically designed to obtain the information that’s request to run a complete background check.

How to compile a company background check:

The application of this work is necessary regardless of whether you get the job. In fact, more than 80% of companies say that discrepancies on a report can take a candidate from consideration. When a report is completed, you want to make sure that your information is complete and easy to verify.

However, there are lots of situations that can cause problems for a candidate. Here are some: What kind of contact information for a former employer is given, that is out of date? If you list a company through an agency, does that makes you look like the employer? If your previous work was in the military service, should you leave that out of the application?

How you respond to these and other questions can mean the difference between a rapid and successful verification process because information can’t be materialized. The human resources ammunition usually used against someone whose information is hard to read, has gaps or contradictions, or is different of special importance.

A successful job search requires a summary, strong interviewing skills and a can-do attitude. These tools will get in the door and help to make the final cut. But if you don’t step of the verification process you won’t get the job. Take time to draw up the detailed information that will be on your work application. It’s one of the best things you can do in your job search.
